The Standard Seoul Barrier gel moisturizer delivers a wonderful balance of keeping my skin hyrated, smooth, while also allowing it to breathe and not feel irritated by dryness or redness.My skin is all over the place during the summer - sometimes it is too dry, and at other times it is too oily. I like using this cream especially when my face feels dry or I need an extra hydration boost on my face. Overall, I like to use it almost on a daily basis as the gel is light and allows my face to breathe.Too many creams feel sticky or leave a layer that is too thick. This one feels smooth and very clean without a scent of like I am adding too many ingredients to my face... feels like I am adding just the right ingredients. Panthenol and the included ceramides are the ingredients that my face actually likes and feels like it is being nurtured from.So on days when there is wind, dust, or whatever else in the air... applying this in the morning before I step out of the house is what helps protect my skin with good flow of hydration and smoothness while not allowing dirt and particles to stick to my skin (at least a lot less than before).Overall, this is a good hydration boost that allows my skin to glow... and for the price it is a great value.

This gel is quite amazing. Just a small amount goes super far. I am able to apply just a dab amount to my entire face, and it feels super moisturized. It's lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it with a soft feeling. I do believe it is soothing just from the texture of the formula being a gel. I am not able to pick up any sort of scent from this product, so I do believe it is fragrance-free. I really like this product. The hydration that you get from this product is pretty top-notch. This would be a great product for someone with dry skin or even sensitive skin.

Im not sure what i think about this. Its a thick jelly like texture. If you've use the Neutrogena blue water gel, its not light like that. It says to press into skin. It does give you this glass skin look, but it doesn't absorb well and you can feel a layer on your face when you touch it. It did finally absorb fully, but it was a long time later. I know at 30 minutes it still had that feeling if I touched my face. Not slick or anything like if you put Vaseline on your face, just like there's an invisible layer Between your skin that you feel when you touch, maybe if you applied a thin layer of Vaseline and it dried down. if that makes sense. I feel like this would be good if you have super dry skin and put ot on at night, and need barrier rapair, but I can't see this a morning routine for meMaybe I will try juat a tiny bit because it does look like the glass skin look for a little while.

There’s not really any aroma to it — maybe just a light, clean scent that disappears quickly.The ingredient list is incredibly long, which isn’t unusual for Korean skincare, but it definitely stood out. Normally, Korean products are my first choice because of the quality and how reliable they usually are, so I was curious to see how this one would feel.The texture isn’t oily at all. It goes on like a gel, but you really do need to use just a tiny amount and take a moment to rub it in well. If you do that, it absorbs nicely and leaves a noticeable softness on the skin.Once it dries down, you really do get that “glow” they talk about — not greasy, just a healthy sheen.If you use too much, though, it can feel sticky, and the “barrier” effect becomes heavier than I expected. It’s not what I’d call lightweight when overapplied, so less is definitely more with this one. Used sparingly, it’s very nice and gives that smooth, glassy finish without feeling oily.For the price, it is pretty much in line with comparable products so decent value for the money
